I have removed my inventory from EBAY. But it doesn't stop here. The Donna Classey Store and Dell'Amor Studios is making some significant changes. Donna Classey will be moving towards the direction with a large inventory of vintage and classic pretty dresses and other clothing items for women. While Dell'Amor Studios is moving ahead with increasing its show room of art and high end decor. Thanks for supporting my store!

Paperweight Fascination

Art glass paperweights are simply something I enjoy. My fascination extends from what appears to be the simplest in a heavy piece of glass with bubbles to a heavy glass piece that is cased with all sorts of things from flowers, to ocean scenes you name. Not to mention they come in unique shapes and sizes. It's certainly fascinating to have examples of the various changes in an art glass paperweight within say the last century. No art glass collection or collector should exempt their collection from glass paperweights. Their various makes and shapes I believe would excite an much needed art glass collection.

My addiction

I started off early 2009 collecting a lot of adorable vintage dresses. But as the spring approached my passion and addiction switched to glass, all sorts of glass, mostly art glass, though. My finds have consisted of mostly Murano glass pices and Scandinavian. Most recently, lots of beautiful art glass paperweights. It's amazing how glass artists and designers are able to take a piece of glass and create the most complicated looking shapes and incorporate so many other glass pieces of other colors in a design. I am most biased towards colorful glass pieces that consist of more than one shade, the more the merrier.
